Genus: Wadotes Chamberlin, 1925
Type species: Wadotes dixiensis, Chamberlin, 1925       from Eastern USA.
Diagnosis: Wadotes can be easily recognized by the single, medially situated epigynal tooth of females, and by the presence of proximal cymbial apophyses in males. All Wadotes species examined have small AME, three promarginal and two retromarginal cheliceral teeth
Distribution: Eastern North America
